How to install the demo
- Open the official store page
Go to the ShredDead page on Steam — the only verified download route.
- Find the demo panel
Steam lists available demos directly on the game’s store page. Install from there at no cost.
- Play the opening loop
The demo teaches the core loop: waves, the shredder, grunts and early skill tree picks — the gameplay demo guide covers what to look for.
- Decide before the discount ends
If the loop clicks, the 20% launch discount (until November 9, 2026) is the cheapest full-game entry.
What the demo is (and is not)
It is a feel test
The demo answers whether ShredDead’s relaxing, flow-state loop suits you — the game’s whole pitch.
It is not a content slice
Incremental demos cap progression by design; the full game’s deep skill tree and evolution research scale far beyond it.
